Holly Robinson

Hi, my name is Holly, and I am an Integrative Counsellor. As your therapist, I will be present. I will show up. I will be alongside you in your therapeutic journey and support you in the self-belief that you can reclaim your story, attune to your true inner voice and not only survive; but thrive.

In my practice, I aim to offer you a safe, open and inclusive space where you can come as your authentic self and have the freedom to explore your deepest thoughts at a pace that suits you. A space where you can show your tears, anger, joy or any other emotion you may feel the need to express. The opportunity to develop a counselling relationship where you feel held. A relationship that is warm, trusting with the right amount of humour when needed. Somewhere you can be met with compassion and kindness. Not only will you be listened to, but you will also be heard. I believe that only YOU are the expert on your experience, therefore, I will encourage you to feel empowered in taking the lead in sessions, whilst still working collaboratively, and maintaining a transparent and respectful relationship.

I have a specialist interest in working in the areas of sexual abuse, shame and identity. My areas of experience are mental health challenges including depression, anxiety and OCD, domestic, racial and sexual abuse, self-harm, suicidal ideation, disordered eating, identity issues, self-worth, trauma, bereavement and loss, work, relationship and family issues. I currently work with adults on a one-to-one basis and offer sessions in person, over the phone or online
