Michelle Kearney

Hello, I'm Michelle, a fully qualified relational integrative counsellor (accredited with BABCP and registered with BACP). In practice, this means I don’t work in a one-size-fits-all way — I draw on different therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, Gestalt, CBT and mindfulness, so our work can be shaped around you and what you need right now.

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and at your own pace. I don’t see people as needing to be “fixed”. Often, when we have the space to slow down, feel heard, and sit safely with difficult emotions, things begin to make more sense and change becomes possible. My role is to be alongside you as you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find a way forward.

I work integratively, drawing on a range of approaches and adapting therapy to suit you as an individual. Our work is collaborative, which means any suggestions I offer are always yours to consider and decide on — we move at a pace that feels right for you. Together we can gently explore what may be leaving you feeling stuck, and support you to move towards a way of living that feels more manageable, meaningful and true to you.
