Hello, I’m Tim (he/him)
I am co-founder of Vessel and a relational psychotherapist. I practice at Old Market and Park Street.
I've sat in a variety of therapeutic spaces, on both sides of the chair and would often dissociatively wonder – why haven't therapy rooms moved on from this lifeless, 90s-style, charity-shop-furniture-showroom aesthetic we'd become so accustomed to? We moved on from Freud's chaise lounge. We can move on from bouncy Poangs, magnolia woodchip and stock images of stacked stones, right? It's 2026.
As a therapist, I am keenly aware of how important it is to cherish, nurture and hold one's therapeutic frame. How did such a vital element of one’s frame get so bland and misrepresentative of those within them? These questions led to the birth of Vessel. We wanted our spaces to reflect the current generation of practitioners and clients undertaking deep, meaningful therapeutic work within them.
Hi, I’m Imogen (she/her)
I am a co-founder of Vessel (and Tim’s partner). Should you choose to work with us, I am the person you’ll be emailing with. I come from a design background, and I am interested in creating beautiful and functional user experiences for people. Which is a fancy way of saying I have made a lot of logos and websites. I also make wheel-thrown ceramics, and in a past life, I co-founded and taught at a pottery studio with a focus on community wellbeing. When I am not starting businesses and making things our three children keep me very busy and fulfilled!
